After 25 years of moving pixels and tweaking logos, I finally swapped my mouse for a kite bar.
What started as a weekend escape back in 2004 turned into a full-blown passion – and eventually, a new career. I traded deadlines and design briefs for salty hair, sandy feet, and the windy life of a kitesurf instructor. Best decision ever.
Just landed back in Lo Stagnone after a wild winter teaching in Thailand and Zanzibar. And guess what? The wind’s still blowing, the water’s still flat, and the vibes are still unbeatable. This flatwater lagoon is a dream for beginners and intermediate riders – and it’s calling your name.
Think you’re too old, too heavy, too tall, too clumsy… too whatever? Please. Kitesurfing isn’t just for shredded Instagram models – it’s for real people who want to try something new, feel the wind, and maybe laugh a bit when they faceplant (it happens to all of us).
